WHAT: Crimes of Passion is an immersive and participatory performance examining the downsides of romantic love. That it’s a Ponzi-scheme which entices millions of people every year – especially the young – and deprives them of the opportunity to live a rich and meaningful life. Crimes of Passion comes in the form of a congregation that has shouldered the responsibilty of giving the victims of romantic love an alternative community. A communion that comes with a price. The performance is for everyone who ever felt the pain of love, regardless of current or former relationship status. Crimes of Passion premiered in Helsinki 8.4.2022 and toured to Gothenburg in November 2022. 2023 Crimes of Passion was played at Bagarmossen Folkets Hus in Stockholm.
