WHEN: 25.11.2016 – 28.11.2016 (World premiere)

WHERE: Gallery SIC-SPACE in Helsinki

WHO: Carl Knif, Sonja Ahlfors, Joanna Wingren, Jukka Huitila, Janne Hast, Karoliina Koiso-Kanttila, Anna-Sofia Nylund, Malin Nyqvist, Ilse Ybarra, Anna Olkinuora, Katia Ali Ca, Venla Helenius, Klara Wenner Tångring, Ilse Ybarra, Johan Isaksson, in collaboration with SIC-SPACE and Gallery Rankka.

WHAT: The performance took place over a 72 hour period during which the performers moved in slow-motion in an enclosed space. The audience was able to choose if they wanted to visit the on-going hybrid performance for 1, 3, or 4 hours during which they needed to follow the performance’s premises and rules. With RAVE we wanted to examine the fragility of being human and that which happens in us when we set the audience and ourselves to a space that is monotonic and timeless.
